William is FOUR!

Last week we celebrated William turning FOUR!

Delilah wanted to take some pictures of him

In the evening we had all his family over, including 'Auntie Ally's baby' (Arden) who he has been eagerly asking to have at his birthday since Christmas, maybe even before then.

His joy over all his gifts was fun to watch

What’s the best thing about being you?
Just being William!

What is something that makes your family special?
We have a silly dad.

It's been a pleasure watching William grow this past year.
He's tall for his age and still gets assumed as older than he is.

He still loves his blankie and gives wonderful snuggles.

His eyes are still a beautiful blue and stand out brightly in his face with his white/blond hair.

Sometimes people call him Will but he only responds to William. To him Will is his dad, not him.

9 times out of 10 he will yawn while we say the Lord's Prayer at dinner together and he always keeps praying right through the yawn.

And almost every evening he says, "This is the best dinner ever, Mom!"

Helping out doesn't come naturally to William, but when asked to do something he will. Vacuum still is something the kids argue over. I may never have to vacuum again as long as we've got these three in the house!

He loves to play outside rain or shine. Shoes and a jacket are always an after thought or a burden insisted on by his parents.
He can usually be found running around with his friends, or wandering in his own little world. He's been climbing trees, and falling out of them too, so we're trying to redirect that interest to activities with a lower rate of broken bones.

Happy Birthday William!
