WWW: Spring, Sunset, and Siblings

Wednesday:
Spring certainly has sprung in the Fraser Valley! The cherry blossoms all along the streets are a welcomed marker of the changing of the seasons.

The kids asked for a picnic lunch on Wednesday so we made some sandwiches and went out to the playground to eat.

Such manly boys we've got. William hauling his piece of wood around and James following dutifully behind with a hammer.

Matching pjs!
The ones James is wearing I got at a thrift store when William was little, and William's came recently as handmedowns from some extended family. But they're a match!

Thursday:
While babysitting on Wednesday night Auntie Nadia inspired Delilah to sort her beads by colour. I think she must have spent three hours on Thursday morning separating them all.

Friday:
James was being very snuggly with Will on Friday evening while playing cars. He kept scooting over to Will to rest his head on Will's shoulder, or putting a hand on his back.

Saturday:

Sunday:
It works in the kids favour to have uncles always competing for the position of 'favourite uncle'. They get quite the attention! Peter wasn't home on Sunday evening so it was Ethan versus Matthew. With Ethan reading books to William and Matt taking Delilah on a bike ride.

These two played together pretty well this afternoon and evening

The oldest and youngest brothers of their families.

Monday:
Can you guess what Delilah's favourite colour is?

Tuesday:
Our gate has been acting up the last few days. It will open for you to leave but not to enter in. So we've just left it open so no one has troubles with it, but on Tuesday night when I got back home it was closed on me. I called Will and he drove down to the gate to get it to open for me.
The gate is a handy thing when it works and such a hassle when it's not working.
