Thursday:
Does anyone have a hankering for a delicious branch, bud, and rock salad?
Greens are good for you, right?
Friday:
I celebrated my five year anniversary of providing daycare not that long ago and soon will be closing this chapter of our lives. At least for now, I'm not saying I'll never do it again. With having another baby join our family we decided that not only will I take a mat leave, but I'll end daycare this spring for the foreseeable future and focus on homemaking and homeschooling with our growing family.
Saturday:
Delilah got to do the starting kick off at her soccer game on Saturday. It was a rainy, rainy morning but throughout the morning it got less and less and eventually stopped.
I walked around to check on my siblings playing too. Ben was holding down the net. If I'm remembering correctly, he had told me the score was 7-3 for his team at this point.
Will and James worked together on Saturday to take the crib rail off James' bed and make him a big boy bed. Always such a bittersweet milestone to go from a baby crib to a toddler bed.
He was so thrilled! I tried to get a good picture but I just have a dozen of these blurry ones because he was jumping all around it as happy as could be.
We watched part of a movie that evening and it was a tad too intense for William so James put his arm around him and reassured him everything was okay.
Our last Saturday clean at the church and then we are finished! Again, this job is also coming to end as I near the end of pregnancy so we can focus on our family.
I'm sure going to miss the cleaning and also the quiet hours I would spend listening to all sorts of podcasts and videos while pushing around my trusty janitorial cart.
But not going to miss the time it takes out of our schedules and we're both looking forward to having some more time at home and free evenings now.
I had left to clean the church before James went to bed for the first time in his big bed. When I got back home later Will told me that he went to bed with no problems at all and I should go take a peek at him.
Oh boy, I cried. I can't believe how much bigger he seems all of a sudden to be sleeping in a toddler bed like this.
