Sports Day

Delilah's homeschool group had their sports day! 

She was a little shy and nervous (along with being very excited!) so it was helpful that some neighbour kids she knows where there to help her warm up.

Delilah placed 4th in her heat for the 60m run

Tug of war. 

The boys insisted on boys vs girls but failed to see there were almost three times as many girls to boys. The girls very easily won that war.

We sat on the grass for a snack break and I asked Delilah to smile for the camera and she said, "No, I'm busy eating this fruit."

For lunch Delilah ran up this hill and sat there for a bit. She said she had a good view of everyone from up there

We added the ducks from the water relay to the parachute to toss them around

What a fun day to spend together! 

Delilah is not the most athletically inclined (gets that from her mom) but she had a lot of fun and already is excited for next year!
