WWW: Fruit Salad and Farewell Gifts

Wednesday:
We stopped at a playground on the way home from picking up groceries on Wednesday mroning

Such a monkey

Thursday:
We had some odds and ends of fruit remaining but not enough to split equally between the kids (and they love their fruit, so it would be seen as extremely unfair if anyone dared to have even one more strawberry than the next child) so I put it all together with an apple and some blueberries to make a fruit salad for us all to enjoy.

The playground needed some reinforcing. Ever helpful James put his hand on the structure and said, "I hold wood, Dad."

Helping yet again over here.

I went back to the house after the playground was sorted to clean up from dinner and I was hearing so much laughing and screaming (the happy kind) coming from outside. I looked out to find Will playing tag with our kids and some of the neighbours.

This was deemed an illegal move on his part

Friday:
We had a kick off to summer barbecue with our care group on Friday night.

Once arriving home from the bbq we were met with a huuuge downpour and opted to wait it out in the truck for a few minutes.
The kids through the reflection of the water on the vehicle windows was very funny.

Saturday:

Waiting in a parkade to pickup a marketplace find James kept himself entertained with the echos of his voice.

We needed to pickup some ingredients for a meal we were making for someone who just had a baby and naturally all three kiddos needed their own mini cart.

Monday:
Our last day of daycare and one of the families gave the kids a goodbye present
