Wednesday:
Madilyn came along with us to IKEA on Wednesday.
Thursday:
The kids very excitedly called me to come outside to see a rock that they painted. When I asked where they got paint from they said that they made it themselves from the earth.
It was sand.
But kept them entertained!
Every adult I talked to who had stopped by 'The Market' was just as confused as I was about the management. Although people tried a few times to explain that the store doesn't give people money, the girls insisted that this is how they wanted to do it.
Friday:
We spent the morning on Friday at a park with some other families from church.
Sunday:
Had a lovely Sunday evening visiting and playing games
Monday:
Monday was Canada Day and while we used the day as just another Saturday, the kids were thrilled to have Dad around and made the most of the extra time with him.
BBQ with some friends
Tuesday:
James tripped on Tuesday morning (he was fine) and Delilah and William rushed to his side and got him all set up with a blanket, pillow, and stuffed animals. I think he stayed 'hurt' for a bit longer than was necessary due to all the attention he was getting.
