There's this neat little bike park near our house that is just perfect the kids at their current stages of biking. There is something challenging and easy enough for each of them.
Yelling while biking through these pipes is necessary I've been told.
Not too far from the bike park is a upick berry patch.
We stopped by here one morning to get a bit for the freezer since we missed out on strawberries and blueberries from the Valley.
Raspberries and Saskatoon berries were what were available the day we came so we picked a pound of each. Delilah worked diligently and picked as many as I did.
They took it very seriously that we needed to only eat the berries once we had paid for them and not one berry was eaten until we got home. I was impressed with their respect and self control!
The boys worked with varying amounts of dedication. Poor James almost had fresh jam in his bucket by the time we were finished due to his over excited picking and all the running he has to do to keep up with the older kids.
