Wednesday:
Once noon passes our backyard gets a glorious patch of shade along the fence that grows and grows all afternoon. It provides a perfect spot for sitting outside but out of the heat of the sun.

Friday:
The kids caught a frog who they named Hoppy. He lived in a pan of water with a rock for a blissful 20 minutes before making his escapes. The kids were sad. I was secretly cheering him on.
We got these eggs from a family in church and I just about squealed when I opened the carton seeing how beautifully coloured they were!
It was almost a shame to eat them.
Tuesday:
At the playground Tuesday afternoon. I watched the clouds as a storm was rolling in and we made it home with a few minutes to spare before the rain fell.
All sorts of concoctions getting whipped up over here
