WWW: Back to the Valley

 Wednesday:
Cutting up carrots with Tonisha on Wednesday afternoon and Delilah commented how this one looked like pieces of candy corn!

Thursday:
I hope you're not sick of seeing photos of Delilah and Clara together yet, because there's plenty more to come!

We get rainbows almost every time it rains in the afternoon and we love it!

Friday:
As promised we utilised Will's five day weekend to go on a trip down to the Valley to show Clara off to my grandparents and a bunch of our friends as well.

McLeese Lake has become one of our favourite stops along the way

Very beautiful there

Trees slowly starting to turn yellow

We stopped along the highway to meet up with Ethan and Dad who were driving up for a canoe trip. Ethan hadn't met Clara yet so we got a bit of a visit with him.

Meanwhile, the kids wrestled Grandpa

Our first stop was Will's parents' for dinner along with Chris and Ally.
The kids are chasing Chris' drone here but it has managed to blend in with the trees and I don't even know where it is in this picture.

Saturday:
Saturday morning we visited with some friends

And Saturday afternoon we had a lovely visit with Clara's Faber great-grandparents, Bredenhof great-grandparents, and great-great-Oma Bredenhof too!

Clara now has met 5 of her great/great-great grandparents. Only 4 more to go!

The ladies

On Saturday we had family photos taken by Carmen Lynn Photography
I'll share more of these later on.

We were also surprised to run into Ben and Esther who were having family photos of their own taken at the same park as us! So of course Esther and I got a photo together of us and our babies.

Snuggling together before bed

Sunday:
On Sunday we were honoured to witness Ben and Ben and Esther's son Zion's baptisms.

I couldn't get a photo of Zion's baptism, but caught this adorable grouchy face of his right at the end of the service.

Snuggles from the original Uncle Ben

Monday:
A whole bunch of blondies

Tuesday:
Heading back home

I always love seeing trains through the canyon

Such beautiful roads

More fall colours
