WWW: Lord, I Thank You For Sunshine

 Thursday:

Our church held a flag display on Thursday morning. The sun was shining beautifully, but the wind was cold! It did look really neat ripping through all the flags though. 

Will helped plant flags while I hung out in the nursery with the kids who would be too cold outside. Delilah and William went out at the end to help a bit too.

Friday:

More perfect snowflakes!!! 

It brings me so much joy every time we see these little guys.

Saturday:

From one injury to the next. 

I think James had his chin bandage removed on Friday morning and then Friday afternoon he bashed his nose while sledding. Thankfully the nose slice was just a surface wound and a bandaid was all that was needed this time.

Delilah wanted to have a unicorn horn on Saturday (maybe you'll remember we did one like this a year or two ago?)

And she even wore her new unicorn shirt to match!

This match took us 45 minutes. I feel like we're pretty equally matched too, so that makes it lots of fun. 

Tuesday:

Glorious sunshine! 

The kids have been so busy playing in the snow! With it being so dry they are constantly bringing pans full of water outside to wet the snow and make it more pliable for their creations. 

I was so awed by the sunshine all day on Tuesday. And seeing the way the counter was lit and our lunch was full of long shadows seemed very bright and cozy to me. 

Below freezing outside but with the sunshine it got up to 24 inside the trailer. I turned the fire off and opened a window to keep it comfortable. Feels wrong to do, but I keep reminding myself not to complain about being too hot when it's sub zero outside.
