James' birthday this year looked very different with half of our family being overseas but we still had a special day together which started off opening presents. One was a puzzle which had to be done right away, of course.

He wanted to do open his presents with Delilah and William over video call and we did manage to make that work.
We went to Coffee Social at the church that morning and brought along cupcakes and party hats.
For dinner he wanted pancakes so we made a whole breakfast for dinner
Birthday mail is always a highlight
Several of the great-grandparents faithfully send cards each year for the kids, physical and ecards, and they get so excited about them coming in the mail.
Once Will, Delilah, and William were back home with us we had more gifts and more cupcakes to celebrate James all together as a family.
Will and the kids picked out gifts for James from Holland which was extra special for James
Happy birthday to our THREE year old!
