James is a gentle boy, though he has a grin about him which certainly can lead to trouble. And it's not just that grin, James is full of fun facial expressions which keep us very entertained.
He is 40inches tall and 39lbs, the perfect size for a three year old in my opinion!
Firetrucks and trains are a big favourite of his and so it works well for James that we are right near a fire station and that we drive by a train yard each time we go to town.
This third year of life was a big one for James. Moving to another town was minor for him compared to becoming a big brother. He has taken to this position rather well. He loves to hold and care for his little sister, and is very proud of the fact that there is someone littler than he. With this he is very insistent that he is big and wants to be included with the big kids.
James plays so well with his siblings, but he can play independently really well too. He doesn't prefer to play outside when it's cold which has led to many afternoons playing inside on his own.
He is potty trained and just recently learned how to do the zipper on his jacket.
James' vocabulary is growing and with a toddlers' pronunciation we are often in stitches over the huge words he tries to say. He calls Delilah, "Why-why" although he can say her name perfectly when prompted.
