Wednesday:
Deer! So fun to spot these guys grazing all over the neighbourhood
Friday:
Heading out on another trip to the Valley!
We've continued the tradition I've grown up with of praying together before a trip and this time once Delilah got into the truck she asked me, "Are we ready to pray?" Neat to see how she's caught onto it as being something normal and to be expected.
The pre-trip selfie is our own tradition and it usually comes after the prayer. Fun to see our tired, yet excited faces.
Not too long after I texted Ethan that we were past the worst of the snowy roads we found snow. With huge fluffy flakes.
Delilah took lots of photos for us during the drive.
Familiar sights
Still familiar, but met with much less enthusiasm. Seen as a necessary evil to get us to our friends' house for a visit and some precious baby snuggles.
Saturday:
James and William got some belated birthday presents from Aunite Madi
And it was Will's birthday on Saturday!!!
Last year we were living in the Valley and celebrated Will in PG. This year we are living in PG and celebrated his birthday in the Valley. Funny how that worked out!
We visited with some friends Saturday morning
And went out to for a sushi lunch to celebrate Will's birthday!
Then off to Fort Langley for a walk with Will's parents
I'm pretty sure this is Clara's first time down a slide
Birthday decorations up at Will's parents' house
The big boys inside
And the little boys outside
Two very delicious cakes!
Belated birthday presents for Arden

And for James
And for William
And an on time gift for Will!
We had Sunday lunch at my parents' house
And dinner with Ben and Esther.
Monday:
Monday we were able to have a dinner with my family.
Grandma and Grandpa F were over too and we had a cake for Grandma's birthday.
Grandma brought birthday gifts for the boys and a sympathy present for Delilah (that was her second one this weekend!)
Tuesday:
Tuesday morning we got ready to leave. All four children were sleeping so soundly while Will and I packed up.
So precious ❤
James' excitement spotting the first train of the trip
More photography by Delilah.
And as we approached Prince George we were welcomed home with more falling snow.
We had such a fun weekend and are so grateful for everyone dear to us that we got to spend time with.
