Wednesday:
The girls got some sunglasses in a bag of hand-me-downs
Saturday:
Not her mirror friend, but Clara saw this picture which is our laptop background and got so excited over all her real life friends.

The mudroom is truly living up to its name. Despite its daily cleaning, the room is continually covered in mud just about all the time. I'm very grateful the mud is all in there and not in the trailer!
Which reminds me (!!!) I still need to share the blog post about the mudroom! It's been hanging out in my drafts waiting for words for a few months now... I shall try to prioritize that soon...
Just look at that gorgeous sunshine! We went for a walk this afternoon to enjoy it even more.
Clara and her favourite friend - herself in the mirror!
Thursday:
James got some new trains and tracks as a belated birthday present so we pulled out our other pieces from toy rotation and he's been having a fun time playing with them.
Clara managed to pull herself up onto this first step but then got stuck which scared her.

The kids had lunch outside on Saturday

All. The. Mud.
Delilah often invites Clara up to her loft for 'girl time.' Clara realises as I lift her up to the loft and gets so excited, anticipating having so much fun with her big sister. Sticking barbie dresses on Clara's head as hats and then having Clara pull them off was the entertainment of this girl time.
Monday:
William got innovative and hooked up a bungee cord he found to Clara's stroller so he could pull her around behind is bike. A real neat idea, but unfortunately for them I spotted them out the window and came to put a pause on the fun.
With the snow melting we now have lake front property!
Clara has been loving playing with the musical toys that also came out during toy rotation.
We had our first thunderstorm of the year on Monday evening. As we sat down for dinner we watched the storm clouds blow in from the south and the last peal of thunder rolled while we were reading the Bible in closing devotions. Here you can see the tail end of the storm blowing over the trailer. The distinction between storm and calm skies was very noticeable.
With the sun coming up earlier and being higher in the sky I love opening the front door when I get up in the mornings and just standing there for a few minutes to bask in the sunshine. Delilah often joins me and it's a special way to start the day with joy.
James got to go up on the roof of the trailer with Will.
Out with the sleds on the hills in the back, in with the bikes!
Some Bible study with Will while we enjoy an afternoon cup of tea.
And no thunderstorm on Tuesday night but we had a full, double rainbow! I thought it was humorous that this red punchbuggy had pulled over to also take a photo of the rainbow and ended up looking like the treasure at the end of the rainbow from my perspective.

ReplyDeleteThis was exactly what I needed! I’m planning to redo our mudroom and wasn’t sure how to blend practicality with design. Your section on Custom Mudroom Cabinets really helped.
