Last week we packed up our truck and the overflow into a utility trailer (our first time needing a trailer for camping- feels like we have achieved large family status now!) and headed to Smithers to camp on Uncle Conrad's property with some of Will's family and attend his cousin's wedding.
We hadn't been sure what we wanted to do for our summer holidays this year so the wedding was the perfect opportunity to take a few additional days off and enjoy the time with some extended family.
I realized I didn't get many photos of William, he was often off with one of the older boys doing all sorts of busy boy things and I didn't see too much of him.
We stopped in Burns Lake and saw little fish in this stream which added some excitement to our bathroom break.
Clara had fun with these second cousins of hers who are just two months older than she
And the rest of our kids had a blast with the smattering of relatives in their age ranges too.
Although the wheels provided quite a challenge Clara thought this long board was pretty fun to push around
What a view to wake up to!
There were several float planes which would take off and land on the lake which was really neat to watch
Will was determined NOT to smile nicely for a selfie but I managed to tickle this one out of him.
Post nap snugs
Thankfully Clara was more interested in the sand than the water and played contentedly there
Delilah did such a great job kayaking around
Cozy around the fire
Cutest little wedding date

We got together for cake and coffee on Uncle Ted's birthday
