WWW: A Few Answered Prayers

Wednesday:
On our way home from the valley. Stopped for construction and so we let Clara out to nurse and crawl around a bit.

8:30pm and we were all ready to be home. I moved to the back to entertain Clara as best I could for the remaining stretch.

Greeted at home with a beautiful rainbow!

Thursday:
Clara is so satisfied to be outside. She loves to play with the kids or to watch them, but she also is happy to putz around on her own as well.

I woke up on Thursday with 4 loads of laundry waiting to be done and rainfall predicted for the whole day. "God, please let me dry my laundry." I prayed at 9:30 while it was raining. And all thanks to Him, we had such a beautiful day from 10-5ish! I got three and almost the fourth load of laundry hung and fully dried. I took this photo at 5:45 as I was eyeing those clouds coming up from the South and decided to go take down the laundry before the rain fell, but I wanted to document the answered prayer. Seemingly such a little thing to have dry skies for a few hours but it was exactly what I needed to catch up on laundry the day after we got back home.

Saturday:
These bouquets are the best!

160+ pounds of kiddos!

Will was out with a friend on Saturday evening and although it took until 10:20 for all the kids to be settled for the night (they kindly took turns waking up or requiring attention) but once they were all down I cozied up with a cup of hot chocolate, a blog post to write, and a bag of hand-me-downs to go through.

Monday:
Doctor Dad at it again. Hours after getting a haircut by Mom, William found himself getting a haircut by Dad. This one involving having a patch shaved on the back of his head for steri strips to hold on to after he was climbing the railing in the mudroom and fell. Once that heals I think he'll need another Mom cut to try to blend in the bald spot. We are thankful the cut wasn't any worse and that we have a handy head of the house who has a good understanding of first aid and was able to prevent a hospital trip.

Did you catch that?!?!
New property planning!!
Such a huge answered prayer for us to have something in the works. We've always said that the right thing would come up at the right time, and we are very excited to be looking forward to this big move.
More on that to come soon! I'm working away on some blog posts as I have time for them.

And yes, I called a Monday evening the weekend. That's due to Will's rotating work schedule which this week had him work Monday and then off Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. So actually a long weekend too even.

I took this rainbow photo shortly after a tornado warning and some wild storm cells which gratefully avoided our neighbourhood. Again, so wonderful to see prayers for the storm to weaken or divert away from us answered! We have a good, good God!!
