Wednesday:
Saturday:
The wind picked up on Tuesday afternoon and while I was reading the sky shifted and the whole house grew dark like there was a storm coming. I went outside to take down the laundry and as I came back inside this corner where I had been sitting looked ultra cozy and I was very excited to snuggle back in just in time before the thunder picked up.
After that storm passed I tried my best to be unbothered by not seeing the rainbow. It seems silly how I had gotten so used to seeing them at our last place. I didn't realise it until now but it became a habit I guess. A storm passed and I would go outside for a few moments to enjoy the rainbow. Well, Will saw the rainbow that afternoon from work and took a picture of it for me.
Clara loves looking out this window and as she's getting taller it's getting easier for her to peer out.
I read through Ecclesiastes this week and while I haven't felt like times have been bad for us lately, this verse was a good reminder.
So fun that Delilah can read now!
Thursday:
We have frequented Home Depot lots these past year, and I don't imagine that will be slowing down anytime soon.
With us moving the trailer a bit earlier than expected Will had some work to do yet for the electrical on Thursday night.
And of course the daddy's girl wanted to hang out to help too.
Friday:
A perfect toddler-sized window for watching cars go by
Sunday:
We were host family on Sunday and we were able to all sit outside and enjoy a campfire over lunch.
The space between our church services is about four hours which when we first joined the hosting schedule we were nervous having guests, sometimes complete strangers, over for so long and being able to keep a conversation going but so far we have been blessed to host folks who are great at conversing and the four hours goes by smoothly.
Tuesday:
We've got a busy September and October ahead, so I'm thinking we'll start school after Thanksgiving? See how things go. William starts kindergarten this year which I think he'll do really well at and Delilah is getting ready to begin grade two!
