WWW: The River and The Lake

Wednesday:
We were blessed with a full social schedule on Wednesday - Tea and a visit in the morning with one friend and a walk along the river with more friends in the afternoon!

James is so sweet with the toddlers at church and this girly likes to hold his hand

I hadn't packed swimwear as it was an overcast and somewhat chilly afternoon, but these three kiddos came back to the truck soaking wet after "Don't go in past your knees" turned into, "Please stop belly flopping everywhere, you're splashing the moms"... Thankfully I had dry clothes for everyone as we still had errands to run afterwards.

Thursday:
I already took a few out of here, but we got these beautiful boxes of peppers from a Dessert Hills Farm sale that came to PG. I am very grateful for Chantelle who waited in line for 5.5hrs(!!!!) and was willing to pick orders for more people.

Friday:
We were eating dinner outside on Friday evening when I saw Mozzy run towards the open house door with a mouse in his mouth! Will darted over and was able to get both of them back outside where we had to pause dinner for a few minutes while an audience gathered to watch Mozzy play with his captive.

Clara loves walking around the corner to say Hi to the Schoutens' chickens.

Will took James on a bike ride on Friday evening. James thought this was so fun and grown up to get to go out all by himself with Dad.
A benefit of living on a deadend road is there is much less traffic so the kids can bike on the road.

What a cutie!

Saturday:
We invited another family from church and spent Saturday at the lake! This was Will's first time going to Purden and it did not disappoint - which I wasn't worried about, but am glad to hear he loved it just as much as I have.

What better way to spend a Saturday night than by chopping up 30lbs of peppers?
I used to cut peppers at Chipotle so I was looking forward to this big task and seeing if I was still proficient at all. It took me a few minutes to get back into the groove and I definitely was a lot slower than I was ten years ago but I enjoyed it a whole lot.

Sunday:
Somehow Mozzy found this to be the most comfortable way to take a nap.
