Playing Catch Up: October 18-23

 Saturday:
Delilah with four babies in the doll crib!

The first falling snow we've seen this season!

Taking the doggos on a walk. We have only had one new pile of bear poop on the property since getting the dogs. So I'd say they're doing their job.

Tuesday:
Cleaning the bathroom fans was on my spring cleaning list and when I came to this one in the en suite bathroom I found that it had been painted over when the ceiling was painted. I had to hammer a screw driver around it to crack the paint and pull the cover down. Safe to say it hasn't been cleaned in quite a while..

Delilah worked this afternoon on uncovering stepping stones in the front yard. We had seen a little of one peeking out of the grass and once we realised it was in a close-to-perfect spot for stepping stones between the house and a path from the driveway she got to work hammering a screw driver into the grass and listening for the stones. She located six and uncovered 4 or 5 of them.

Some day I will stop taking photos of these trees, but I don't picture that day coming anytime soon.

Wednesday:
Clara loves taking the dogs' leashes and walking them around the yard. She certainly thinks she is the boss of them, and they do listen decently to her.

We set up this cupboard with our bibles and song books near the dinning table so we have everything readily available for family worship at mealtimes. Clara made her own addition to the collection by sticking a book on giraffes in the cupboard too!

Thursday:
Laundry folding party! I am feeling mostly back to normal so having the kids help me catch up on laundry was very helpful.

Scooping dog poop has been a fought over chore at our house. Does it make sense to me? No, but I also won't complain that there are so many willing scoopers.

I sent a selfie with these trees in the background to my girlfriends' group chat and captioned it, "My emotional support trees."

They are rapidly losing leaves (scroll up to compare how they looked just two days earlier), but still beautiful.

We found a peony bush and I gave William the task of trimming it down for winter.

Here is our after photo for the water. Do you remember the orange water in the bathtub from a few posts ago? Well, after getting the new water softener and installing five (if I'm remembering correctly) filters, the bowl on the bottom is the final water colour Will was able to get. Quite the accomplishment!
