Busy afternoon of Playdoh
And another busy afternoon, this time with Lego
The Sunday of the time change went just fine which was an answered prayer especially considering our power had been out for 11hrs and we were host family at church. But Monday hit us all hard and since we didn't have anywhere to be or to do, we just let it be a slow day.
I 'lost' Clara on Monday afternoon. We were at home and I looked around the house for her but couldn't find her. So I did a second pass, this time calling for her (if she's playing quietly on her own I'd rather not interrupt her because that usually ends her playing) and I heard her respond from her bedroom. I glanced in there a second time, but again, didn't see her anywhere. Until a pile of blanket on Delilah's bed moved, and I spotted the tip of her bald head peeking out of the blankets. She had tucked herself and her doll into bed and that's how I missed her when scanning the floors for her. Delilah and I both thought it was pretty funny, and of course, absolutely adorable.
We went to Bubbles again. This time with Delilah and William (last year I took James and Clara while D+W were in the Netherlands)
The big kids ran around like crazy, and Clara enjoyed going from this station to that one, and checking everything out at her own pace.
