Clara love going outside when the kids go out, but she only lasts a short while before deciding that the snow is too deep to walk in. 

Tea with schoolwork usually makes everything better. But this afternoon we managed to spill two cups between the four of us... 

We found a Clara on the shelf at the bookstore!

We had a pretty heavy snowfall the last few days. I took this picture on Friday morning on my way to the airport...

As we were about to take off from Prince George the captain had announced that we were heading to the tropical destination of Vancouver, BC where it was sunny and 10 degrees.

Although it was longer than my trip last year, this still felt like a whirlwind of a weekend! It was so very special to celebrate Mom's birthday, spend time with my family, visit with Grandma Buma who moved this winter, and even make a special birthday stop for Arden.
