Weekly Wednesday Wupdate: Three Kids In A Row

Still playing a little bit of catch up on the blog here...
And catch up in many other areas of our lives at the moment, but I really wanted to get this weekly update out on time. In general things are starting to feel a little more settled. We're in a bit of a transition to a summer schedule now that school is over and next week should be our first week of the new routine (minus Monday being a holiday).
Over the summer I'll only have two daycare kiddos coming on three days of the week rather than the five days we've been doing for the last few months. Having the two days off each week is a welcomed break, and there will even be several weeks where we have one or no daycares in our home when their families go on summer holidays.

Wednesday:
This lonesome tire gets played with so much around our property. James learned he could climb right into it which he thought was funny - until he realised he couldn't get back out!

Thursday:
Oma brought over some cherries to share and she had a whole row of kids not-so-patiently waiting for a snack.

Again in a row. They sat like this all on their own which I find so cute.

Friday:
On Friday our daycare kiddo called in sick so I told the kids we could walk to the park for something fun to do, but then the morning got away on us and suddenly it was 11am. We pivoted our plans and packed up lunch to take to our playground and we had a picnic lunch outside.

Again, all three kids in a row together.
Lots of fun to be outdoors and have a slower paced meal together. We listened to birds chirping, the neighbours dog barking, fire truck sirens going by, and our neighbour the street was cutting his lawn.

Saturday:
On Saturday we went to Vancouver Island for a day trip and I made a whole separate blog post about that which you can find here

Monday:
On Monday evening our parents and siblings all came over for icecream to celebrate my birthday.
