Purging - Pt 8

Hi. Hello.
Welcome back to my purging journey!

It's been almost two months since I've blogged about getting rid of ALL THE THINGS, but, don't worry!
I am still filling the recycling bin with broken stuff and leaving bags hanging on our front door for contactless pick up for other moms who can use things I don't need.
The majority of thirft stores have been closed for the past 6 weeks or so because of the cornavirus and so I've resorted to piling stashes of things to donate all over the house. In the front closet, on the spare bed in Delilah's room, on the floor in the corner of our bedroom... 🙈
But good news!
My favourite thrift store had advertised that on April 24th (the morning of Chris and Ally's wedding) they were going to be open for just 4hrs to accept donation drop offs. And you better believe I made it out there with my hair half curled, to empty a trunkful of donations!

3 Areas/Categories That I've Worked On Purging:

1. My Clothes!
What All Went:
- Swim suits
- Maternity clothes
- Tank tops
- Pajamas

2. Kitchen
What All Went:
- Plastic utensils
- Those bendy straws that are impossible to clean
- Slurpie straws
- Dessert forks
- Food storage containers
- Pie plates (do I really need four pie plates? 🤷Maybe?)
- Bread machine

3. Kids Stuff
What All Went:
- Old baby monitor that we don't use
- Hanging storage unit
- More hangers!
- Clothes for both kids
- Shoes
